About

Laurie Buller is an acrylic artist who is passionate about producing work that is realistic, bold and vibrant. She is especially drawn to recreating and bringing to life an array of tropical florals.

Since a very young age, Laurie has always had an interest in art. Born and raised in the Canadian prairies (Manitoba), she was fortunate enough to spend five wonderful years with her family on the stunning island of Kauai.

It was here that her passion for art really developed.

Largely self-taught, Laurie has been heavily influenced by American portrait oil artist, Evelyn Ritter of Hawaii. Evelyn mentored and guided Laurie and helped develop the artist within her. Canadian Acrylic artist Wendy Kroeker influenced her by sharing secret tips of the trade before her recent retirement.

She is happily married with 2 adult children and a dog named Lily. Laurie enjoys photography, travel and the cottage.
